A colorful salad that's a refreshing start to a meal. I like to use pink grapefruit, as the colors remind me of my ‘80s preppy phase.  

Chris' Avocado and Grapefruit Salad!

  1. Peel the grapefruit, break into sections, and then roughly chop.  Mix it into the lettuce.
  2. Halve the avocado, remove the pit, spoon out the flesh, and roughly chop.  Mix into the lettuce.
  3. Roughly chop the almonds, and mix into the salad.
  4. Dress the salad with the olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and serve.
